The pre-conception and conception fields create an energetic imprint that stays with mother and child forever. For most, the conception journey has become one of pressure, fear and doubt, with many women experiencing guilt, feelings of failure, and mistrust in their body’s capacity to conceive. Menstrual and reproductive issues are prominent, and our wombs carry imprints of grief, stagnation and fear from the tapestries of our lineage.
Indigenous and earth based cultures have always held deep reverence for this potent and creative field of beginningness, and through movement, sound, prayer, ritual and ancestral wisdom, we can reclaim conception as the sacred container that it is. Conception doesn’t just happen to us, we invite it in and negotiate with external forces.
This immersion invites us to deepen our connection to self and our sovereignty, to let go of what is no longer serving, and to make space for the emergence of what we want to call in for our pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Is this for me if I’m not in partnership or actively trying to conceive?
Conception, pregnancy and birth is women’s wisdom and part of our blood rite mysteries. We have all journeyed through the conception process already ourselves to be incarnate here now, and so we have all negotiated this portal with our mothers. Women’s wisdom is creative shamanic potential harnessed through the body, and these powerful technologies are calling to be reawakened through each one of us.
This container is for anyone dreaming-in, sensing, or feeling the call to conceive in a conscious, enriching, sovereign and embodied way, now or in the future. For those engaging with assisted reproduction this work is extremely complementary to support and deepen your connection with what is happening in your body and in your family constellation.
As soon as you have feelings, thoughts or sensations about becoming a parent, you are already dancing in the pre-conception field. The initiatory journey of matrescence (becoming a mother) is already beginning to work you, and everything that you encounter will be offering opportunities for internal and external transformation to prepare you.
Whether conception itself is months or years away, if you are reading this, your initiatory journey of pre-conception has already begun.
This container is also for birthworkers, therapists, or anyone wanting to dive deeper into the pre-conception period.
